bob, if you use the counterpoise, it can take the place of the radials and 
you can put it as high as you like according to the instructions that came 
with it.  but with the counterpoise, you do not use the matching stub of 
coax that comes with it, there is a roll of cable that comes with the 
counterpoise and that is what you use.  that is what I have on mine.
