I would not waste time loosing sleep over this new law. Yaya Jammeh is arrogant enough or is it ignorance, to believe that the illegal directives from him that his rubber stamp Paliament passes and calls laws will not be challenged by Gambians later when we become free from the hostage situation that he and his so-called Paliament are holding Gambians to. Let him dream on. The only holiday these guys should be enjoying needs to be at mile two if justice is to be served for all those who have been wronged. The Gambian people will not have to spend any monies propping up criminal dictators once they leave office. Besides, only Jammeh is short-sighted enough to believe that he can stay safely in The Gambia, guards or no guards if he were to leave office after all the enemies he has made. Wonders never cease.

Oh! And I think this is Jammeh's chicken change response to Mo Ibrahim's
retirement package for upstanding African leaders of $500K per year. Or,
is it......the anticipation of the "oil" ("Kanilai tulse" - palm oil)
money.
