Somebody is going to have to explain a couple of things to me.
first, a 23 year old young man, with 10 to 12 years of snake handling
experience, tells his family that he is going out to the shed where he keeps
his 14 foot long pet python. the snake needs to be treated for some type of
a medical problem, the kid says. Three hours later, the family goes to
check on him and finds him dead in the shed. The coroner's report for cause
of death is consistent with suffocation and upper body triangulation which
are easily produced by a constrictor species of snake. That's what a python
does when it kills is prey. So, somebody is going to have to explain to me
how this snake handling expert somehow forgot about this. What was the
medical problem he was checking on? A sore throat?
Secondly, the guy from Australia, Steve, whatever his name was. Tragedy?
Yes, as much as the 23 year old kid and the python. However, Steve said, I
heard on the news today, that he never wanted the camera to stop running
even if he was being torn to pieces by a crazy alligator. He wanted it all
on tape and he wanted it shown around the world. I would say, although the
tape, they say, shows he wasn't tormenting the sting ray, he must have been
a little too close for comfort. I doubt Steve thought he would be killed by
a sting ray when he swam with sharks, screwed around with alligators, and a
lot of man eating type of animals. So, somebody is going to have to explain
this one to me, too because I'm having trouble understanding.
Phil.
He's ready when you are.
