Hi all,
I came across ta great chart of grain taxonomy, or the 'family tree' of
grains, on the Bard Tale Beer website: http://www.bardsbeer.com/
You can find it under: Research/Papers/Grain taxonomy
It is a big help in clearing up the confusion about issues like: why are
teff and quinoa OK for us and not spelt.
I tried to attach the pdf directly, but the listserv will not let me post
something so big.....
I also re-worked it into a more understandable word.doc (I appologize in
advance to any botonists I may offend at my simplification!), but I also
cannot seem to attatch that successfully. I will try to send it in a new
message all by itself.
If I am unable to send it, you can email me directly and I can send it out
individually.
Pam Donner
