I have recently been confirmed as a Celiac, both via blood test and biopsy,
and I am curious about a few things. I really did not have most of the
gluten-intolerance symptoms, (diarrhea, cramps, etc) however I did have an
occasional bout with those symptoms. I did not seem to have a gluten
tolerance problem. My doctor even had me on a high-fiber diet, which did
not cause things to escalate. After the diagnosis was complete, I am now
adjusting to a gluten-free diet and I was wondering if I "fall off of the
wagon" and indulge in a gluten containing product after being gluten-free,
should I expect to suffer more than in the past since my body is not forced
to deal with the gluten anymore.
