Well, Steve, some experimenting I did late this afternoon shows me that
the documents from Office 2007 are at least readable in 2003, and vice
versa.
I downloaded and installed a compatibility pack from Microsoft, and I think
that may have helped a bit. ... So, I am not in a state of major despair
here; just somewhat frustrated.
But then again, maybe that's why we teachers take the Summer off.
