Im in the same boat only the other way around as im doing a course at our
uni here I wont install vista yet the uni are now installing it all over the
campus. I think I will go all linux that will fox em.

The problem with that is, when you have between 80 and 100 5-page
papers, scanning is a lot of extra work, plus, when a document is scanned,
then it's harder to tell whether any errors are the student's errors, or
errors created from the scanning process.
