I think you mentioned a mag mount already or similar antenna, for now, if
all you want to do it 2 meters, you should be in good shape. An extra
battery or the AA holder for that radio wouldn't hurt. I'm sure you'll want
more down the road but that's about all I can think of for now. I remember
when I started out that way lol I have a lot more now.
