In terms of a commercial antenna, if you have a beam at the top of the
tower, try the Alpha Delta DX-A. I used one here for several years when I
had a beam at the top of my tower and it was very successful. Then, I put
up a quad in place of the beam and it didn't work so well any more. <GRIN>

I wonder about a sloaper though.
Using the tower as the ground portion and sloaping as much wire off the top
of the tower down to ground level as possible.
