My thinking is though, putting the sealer on first, it can get in any gaps
or anything that might be there and putting the tape on first might leave
pockets and with climate changes moisture might get in there. I have seen
that happen, or that was the only explanation we could come up for with it.
I agree, on something moving, especially if long trips to different climates
are going to be happening, seal it up as best as you can. Especially if you
could be near the ocean or any salt water, that gets in the air and will
cause problems over time. Anyway, my sealer theory could be all wet, hi hi,
but that's how I look at it, let that fill in the gaps if any.
