I sent this message to people in my address book including the mailing lists I am subscribed to.

However, I find that sometimes I receive messages in my own inbox from subscribers on a particular e-mail list.

I am really sorry if I inconvenienced anyone.

I thank those of you who showed compassion.

For those of you who were annoyed by the message and preferred to rub salt in the wound well, I hope it never happens to you and, that you are show the compassion you deserve.
