Hi Tom,

Charter is my I S P and I've been talking to there internet security team as
I have been having trouble with bounced incoming messages. I even had a
message that I sent to a list of several blind copy addresses with my email
address as the main addressee, bounce. You've got to believe that Charter
heard about that one!
As mail filters go, I have all filters turned off, so its not the filters,
they are off by default. It is simply Charter continually changing the way
they counter spam to try to keep up with constantly changing spam mail. So,
if legitimate mail gets bounced, lets all complain to our I S P's. Spam is
a real problem and it really slows down the internet.
73 and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Subject: slightly off topic: ISP question

Hi again, everyone.

Does anyone on this list use charter.net as their main ISP?

As I indicated in my last e-mail, I'm increasingly having problems with
missing e-mail that Charter thinks is spam, and that never gets to me.

Someone has told me that there is a way to change filter settings in your
Charter.net account so as to lessen this problem, but I don't know exactly
what to do or where to go to accomplish this.

Working with the charter.net folks over the phone and through their
interactive tech support has not been very helpful and, in fact, has been
more frustrating than anything else.

Thanks, and 73 from Tom Behler: KB8TYJ
