well i thought it was kind of silly too but now that i am diabetic and 
having a brother who is, if we went to a eating place and nobody in the 
group could see, it might be a very good idea to have the side labeled diet, 
popped in or however they do it, e.g if everybody got different things and 
they were all in a group like a cupholder in the front seat of a car or 
something but then again, a sighted friends car it would have to be lol
but yeah, it seemed silly to me as a kid
