Subject: comp meter on kenwoods

Hello,
What info is shown on the comp meter? I've been playing around with
the kenwood control commands. I wrote a simple python script to takes
measurements of the alc meter for 10 seconds and spit them out. This
gives you a way to set an appropriate mic gain.

So, does anyone know what the comp meter is used for?
