there is no adjustment in the menus for relative power output on
SSB....perhaps you are thinking of the carrier level adjustment for AM?
I know the ts2000 pretty well and there is no adjustment in the menus for
ssb and only the power, microphone, and compresser settings.
There may be a setting for the meter to show relative power, but not a
setting to actually adjust the output power beyond the front pannel control
and of course the various internal adjustments.
Howard, i assume you are testing the rig using a 50 ohm dummy load?
