Thank you everyone who responded.

3 people said they had good experiences at Wolfgang Puck's. They were
accomodating, the chef came out and made a great GF meal. Even though
pizza is their speciality, they were able to get plain fish or chicken.

One person said Fulton's. I have been there and they are good at
accomodating a GF meal.

One person said Cap N Jack's. They were able to get a shrimp coctail,
perfect broiled salmon with butter ( no sauce), steamed vegetables, and
mashed potates.

One person suggested Rainforest Cafe.

One person suggested House of Blues.

I had one person forward my message to Brenda Bennett. She is a Chef at
the Magic Kingdom and oversees the food there. She in turn forwarded my
message to [log in to unmask] He told me that the restuarants
Downtown are third party and they could not guarantee what could be done
for a gf meal. He said to let him know what restuarant that I decided and
he would get in contact via e-mail with them. I knew this about the
Downtown Disney restuarants and that is why I wanted to know your success
stories. There are a few restuarants that seem to be able to accomodate.

2 people suggested Bongo's. That is the Cuban restuarant owned by Gloria
Estefan and her husband. Now I had already made my reservations for
Wolfgang's and then I got a great review for Bongo's. One person said the
he eats at Bongo's every chance he gets. They have awesome Cuban food.
He also said to eat inside for the atmosphere. He suggested Vaca Frita (
had to look it up) if memory serves me right it is some kind of beef
dish. Sounded yummy! He also mentioned that the margarita's were pretty
tasty.

I have decided to cancel my Wolfgang Puck's reservation and make one for
Bongo's. Thank you all, it is nice to get personal experiences to help
make a decision.

Take Care,
Janet
