Thanks very much Kabir for speaking my mind.
I confess being the originator of all this debate about people hiding behind
Bogus names and using that to throw filth on others (the Lamarana = Pa
Nderry saga) until Essau Gambia came in too to defend the Freedom newspaper.
It is true that I have been with the list for almost two years now and have
in fact been listed after my identity was verified, I am sure many are using
names (real ones) when they do not owe them. However, coming back to your
point, some time back a fierce rage exploded on the G-L on the issue of
bogus names that everyone knows do not exist and are subscribed. I believe
that was when Dr Jaiteh and others came up with the rules on anonymity. What
I suggest, to further avoid any other polemic on this issue, is to let the
rule be enforced. Bogus names be unlisted. For those hiding behind real
names, only their sponsors can vouch for them. Thanks again all.
PS: Kindly be calm!!!
F.
