I've checked the archives and can't seem to locate any summaries
regarding how communion is handled logistically for those receiving the
low-gluten hosts in their parishes.
My question is how is it distributed (by the priest, eucharistic
ministers) so that it is not contaminated. How do you let them know
before mass starts that you'll need the low-gluten host? I'm only
interested in how other Catholic parishes handle this situation.
My pastor is interested in how it is being done, as he wishes to have
mass flow gracefully, yet eliminating any chance of mistakes involving
cross contamination.
Thank you for sharing your church's practices.
