Meat which is advertized as grass-fed is not supposed to have been fed any
grain. Grain fed meats would technically not classify as Paleo, since the
wild ancestors of cattle (such as the aurochs) ate mainly grass with
little or no grain, and certainly not processed feed. However, Dr. Loren
Cordain says that lean cuts of grain-fed meats are OK to eat, and Ray
Audette doesn't restrict himself to lean cuts.
