well, lets examine some of the places we have exported
democracy. Japan is a good place to start. we had to
keep troops there for years, but, japan appears to
have turned out pretty good. Germany under hitler was
hardly a democracy. we left troops there many years,
but, lookes like it turned out pretty good. the common
denominator seems to be the willingness to take the
time necessaary to plant a democracy. if you can't
microwave one in a few minutes most will say, "it
can't be done."
