The paradox for me is the rise in waves of mass food

for pesticides, herbicides, GM....the problems and the solutions
roll out in a never-ending stream.
Thank you so much for posting that information Keith. If you think the
overbroad sweeping laguage in the bills will kill organic farming -- you are
correct. The same kind of overlybroad sweeping language contained in the health
bill which was snuck into the purported stimulous package will also kill
alternative/progressive medicine because it effectively takes away health care
practioners' independent judgement and forces them to use federally mandated
guidelines. Since we will all be forced to have our medical records on the giant
federal computer system -- who knows what ramifications a patient's refusal to
take statins etc or other typical mass medicine nonsense will have for that
person in terms of insurance coverage. And we can forget our privacy -- big
brother will absolutely be watching. All of this is the result of the
liberal/socialist idea that "government knows best". The overly broad sweeping language
does not currently let docs or patients opt out of the system. Choice will be
out the window "for the good of the masses". There was no transparency or
open debate on these matters because the bills were snuck into the rushed
stimulus package. The language of the bills is alarming because it is just now
coming to light. This is not mere panic on my part. The company my husband works
for is under threat because they private label various supplements including
food based such as mushroom extract, citrus pectin, fish/krilloil, red rice
yeast etc plus supplements for DHEA, pregnenalone, progesterone etc that
progressive physicians use instead of drugs. The FDA is in bed with big pharma and
has had supplements and organic farming it its cross-hairs for a long time.
Now, the Obama administration appears ready to finally pull the trigger. The
devil is in the details and there's plenty of devil in these bills. People --
wake up and start doing your own research on this. You will be alarmed which
is a good thing because that will prompt you to take action and write letters
to the newspapers -- your representatives -- the White House -- trade
associatians and the proper lobbying groups. Thank you again Keith -- you have brought
awareness to critical issues that are threatening our freedoms.
