Mary does have speech processing problems not always clearly comprehending what she hears or putting speech in the correct order, because of her stroke. She is understood better by her peers than adults. Her pronunciation is very clear though. Mary speaks too softly and does not like to make eye contact which we are always working on, we have had her hearing checked and hearing aids can not improve her abilities as it seams to be a neurological problem only. Mary has slow processing times in all areas of academic development. She is very dedicated and will stay in at recess to keep up with her peers academically.
Thanks,
