Well, voting was kind of interesting yesterday! I decided to go
ahead and vote on Election Day, but reckoned without the weather. I
can truly say it was bloody awful - cold and WET, pouring buckets of
rain. Ugh! I left work at 4:00 to get to the polls at a reasonable
time - was gratified to find they had a "curbside" voting parking
spot for disabled voters. You parked in the spot and pressed a
button to summon a polling place worker. I unashamedly took
advantage of the spot, although I must say I felt sorry for the poor
woman who had to stand out there in the pouring cold rain, waiting
for me to finish my ballot. I made sure to thank her profusely when I
had finished.
