Thanks.  I figured that out finally.  I haven't gotten the cw counter, may 
have to do that.  I do have the talking one that a e a made years ago.  It 
seems to count o.k. on the high bands, but not on the lower frequencies. 
I'm also still looking for someone to build the board.

Only damage I did was a lock washer fell out of one of those screws which 
I found rattling around in there.
