I had a friend who just did that for regular AM/FM radios that he could be
tough with wiht all parts, but the most part it was the antenna. Where we
were at school at the school for the blind in Michigan in the late 80's
not many people liked that idea, but he managed to get the radios to work
at least for a while with the metal hangers, but you had to really be
carefull though.
