Hi Donna,
To enter a frequency, go to the six pack of buttons just to the right of the
microphone plug. Press the button on the far lower right. Next go to the ten
buttons just above the six pack. the top row has the numbers 1 to 5 and the
second row has the buttons 6 to 0. enter your frequency, then you should
hear a beep and possibly a change in the receiver. If you don't here the
beep press the lower button in the six pack again. this should finish the
frequency process for you. I hope this helps.
