Why in the world would you want to copy something to Beta?

If your Beta machine ever died, I don't think you could find a replacement.
Most manufacturers are going to stop making VHS models and I doubt a Beta
machine has been made in the last twenty years.

Subject: off topic VCR/DVD issue resolved

Hi everyone, and happy new year to all ofyou! I just thought I would
write a few observations on my VCR issu. I did end up getting a new
VCR/DVD combination and it is a Toshiba, and so far so good. I can play
music CDs in it, and even MP3 CDs in there, but I've noticed that with the
MP3 files in there that you can't jump to certain portions like you can
with an audio CD. I haven't yet tried out any DVDs yet, but I will try
and stop and get some at the library tomorrow or later on in the week. As
I said the unit I have is a Toshiba VHS/DVD machine, and I now have
capabilities for Beta, VHS and now DVD and i have to figure out a way to
make the Beta work and get a long with the VHS as I can't have both of
htem on at the same time if I wanted to copy a VHS or DVD to Beta. The
VHS unit will only work on CH 3.
