Tom,
If you're trying to use one key for two functions, then something has to
give. You might try using another key for routing the JAWS cursor. You
might also try using a USB keyboard with your laptop, and telling JAWS to
run a desktop keyboard. It's a little cumbersome, but you'd have a standard
keyboard (much nicer in my book), and you'd avoid the key conflict
altogether.
