Ed all you aught to need is a three conductor line from the padle to 
the keyer input.  Remember their are two 1/8 inch jacks on the front 
of the 480.
One is the keyer and the other is for a straight key or bug.
I adjust the weight menu setting, because it gets funny at the 
default setting, when you hit 30 WPM.
