I'm going to try the little footswitch I have, and maybe I'll try your idea
of attaching it to a piece of plywood to help keep it in place.

But, ultimately, I'm thinking of trying to find one of those old dictiphone
switches you guys keep talking about.

Any ideas as to where I might find one?

Would Ebay be a possibility?  But, then again, I don't need the dictiphone
that might come with it!  HI!  HI!

And, I agree with you, Steve.  I am not a big fan of vox either because I
have heard too many unwanted transmissions from those who use it.  This is
why I am gravitating toward the footswitch idea.
