As I said to someone else, be specific of keep your opinions to yourself. 
Stating that there are "some new and rather ugly problems" isn't exactly 
specific and doesn't contribute anything useful or constructive to any 
discussions.

And I don't write FS press releases. If you have the right personal, 
long-time friends in the right places, you find out things and that's all 
I'm going to say on the issue.

Sounds like a direct quote from an FS press release.  What do you
mean by "running more efficiently?"  Without looking at source code,
how can you be sure that the code has been optimized?  There are some
new and rather ugly problems in 7.1 that weren't there in previous versions.
