It comes down to this: some people really know how to manipulate the Rehab 
system to their advantage and others don't.  Generally, Rehab will try to 
get off as cheaply as possible when they purchase equipment for you whether 
it actually meets your needs or not.  And usually, the totally blind get 
screwed in every area.  And now that both organizations of the blind are 
failing miserably in the advocacy area, there is little we can do about it
