i must admit also, i have never dealt with rtty, i just know its a form of 
data communications i think so im clueless as to rtty or if thats still 
around
packet though you need a tnc(terminal node controller and of course a 
computer and a radio, either hf or otherwise, i have never done hf packet 
but two meters i used to use packet all the time,
I hope that is still valid info anyway, someone let me know if it isn't
