there's the fact that it's something else to break, then in my limited space
there's nowhere to put the control head, it's more wires to get in the way,
with the radio in the EOC that way I use that control head has taken more
falls than a life long drunk and has the marks to show it, I've been told it
looks stupid unless there's a base stand for the control head, and to my
mind, I have to agree, and it's just a real stupid thing to do. I don't know
why they can't make a way to attach it to the front of the radio, they
always used to but now for some reason, they insist on not doing that. Just
seems to me like having a radio like that in here would be a thousand times
more aggravation than it's worth. I'll probably have no choice some day,
especially where I'm wearing out my tmg707A sow ill have to replace that in
the next couple years and with my luck they'll discontinue it with another
one, but those are some of my reasons. I hate coax connectors on pigtails on
the back of the radios too but I have a couple that way and only 1 has broke
so far, but I bought none of them new and wouldn't buy a radio that way new
if I had any choice at all.
