if you are really worried about self defense, mag. go to a gun shop and have a holster put on the chair and place a 38 snub nose in it. beats a footrest anytime! i would suggest that you learn to shoot the snub nose. a little leather accessory for you chair would be great. now wouldn't that suprise a mugger.
