occupational exposures, air pollution, airway
hyperresponsiveness, asthma, and certain genetic
variations, 

that covers a lot. i had asthma as a child, lived in
heavy polution in atlanta and worked in old buildings
that the goverment owned/leased which now have been
torn down. i guess i have it about covered except the
smoking.
