I was curious.  I activated the link you provided, which opened Internet
Explorer, then Acrobat Reader.  Acrobat said the document was empty, and
consisted of 6 pages.  I used Acrobat to save a copy of the file.  I have
Kurzweil 1000 here, but wanted to try another OCR program from the
commercial market, Omnipage 15.  The choice to use Omnipage was on the Fle
menu of Windows Explorer when the PDF file was selected.  I chose "convert
to text" and found it was running very slowly.  The conversion took about 4
minutes.  The result was quite readable, although there were a lot of OCR
errors, also.  If I remember to do it, I'll try the same document on K100
tomorrow night.
