I'm having real computer problems! This message attachment has nothing to
do with the message itself. I just can't send out a message unless it is a
reply to a message. This is the best I can do until I figure out what in
.....is going on.!!!!

Well, since the work of the past hour an a half has bin lost, I'm going to
ask a few of the questions that I asked and hopefully you guys wont get
tired
of me.
After reading just about everything I can find on the web about CB antenna's
and listening to the best advice I can get here it seems like the old
fashion
102 inch steal whip is still the cheapest and best way to go. I obviously
can't mount it on the top of the 10 foot high roof but I can mount it
anywhere
from the bumper up to as high as I can reach and just tie it down when I am
in low hanging areas. What is best? How do I get the best grown plane? Do
I use 50 or 72 ohm cable?
In one of my messages that got lost I mentioned that the information
available on line for CB was quite extensive and as technical as you want.
That's
making me more and more curious as to why there aren't more hams. It was
easy to cram for the general exam (KG6YAA) but I still have trouble turning
on
the car radio. I put a lot of work into those emails that got lost and I
sure hope that this one doesn't get lost too but I'm copying it as I go
along
just in case.
Oh yes, will we have trouble with our radios in Mexico and central America?
