Though only 10 CD patients were followed up after consuming oats for 5
years, this study is conclusive enough to suggest that celiacs who have no
specific intolerance to oats can safely consume oats, long-term, as a part
of a GF diet:

Scand J Gastroenterol. 2007 Jan;42(1):54-9.
No observed local immunological response at cell level after five years of
oats in adult coeliac disease.
