I got several replies to my questions about hyperparathyroidism and celiac. The majority were questions about my own experiences, and most either had both or knew someone else with both.

I asked my doctor the questions this week and his reply was that both were considered autoimmune diseases.

One reply stated that her hyperparathyroidism was caused by a deficiency in vitamin D and was brought into balance with supplementation.

Thanks to all of you who took your time to answer my questions.

Regards,

Laura
