Greetings Abdoul, I agree with you, however, unfortunately, I find it hard
to "wish them luck", especially since they probably won't last long in their
new positions (just as they didn't last long in their old ones), and they'll
most likely go the way of so many others.
And this is not even to talk of the misery this government has inflicted on
the people they're supposed to be serving.
But at the same time, as a fellow human being, I don't wish them any ill
will either. Because I believe that if you wish ill of others, that could
come back to you, so for me it's better to remain silent and leave things in
the hands of God. Hopefully this makes sense.
Ginny

Ginny,
My thoughts exactly. I am not sure what to make of the headline.
My understanding of sacking as described in the dictionary is dismissal from
a job or as we say in America "fire".
After reading the article, I could not help but reach a similar conclusion.
Granted Jammeh is well known for sacking, this is non other than a
REDEPLOYMENT of the three ministers. They are still working for him
regardless of it being voluntarily or not.
I guess the question is wether the new assignments are preferred over
supposed prestigious the ministerial (SOS) titles.
In all, I wish them good luck in their new endeavors.
