Folks ,
I came across a very interesting book as titled above
by Donald R wright narrating the history of The Gambia
making reference to Niumi.The book has come out with
historical fact about Kelefa , Mansa Wali , Burunga
Sonko among others . It also describes Transition in
Nuimi from 1800 to 1897 and also Nuimi in The Colonial
Era 1897 TO 1965.I like to urge all Nuiminkas to get a
copy. It was published in 1997 by M.E. Sharp.
