Lelia,
I am very glad that Luke is back safe and sound! Little birds can be so
quiet and also amazingly quick. I was visiting a friend a few years ago who
had a budgerie, a very gentle friendly little bird. We took him out of his
cage so I could have him hold onto my hand while I touched him. Then my
friend put him on the kitchen floor. I moved very slowly and carefully
because I didn't want to scare or hurt him. He was so quiet. Vignette, who
at home was well-known for chasing pigeons away from our balcony, was very
gentle and quiet with this little bird. I really had no idea that she could
be so different with another type of bird.
There was also a time when at home, Vignette came running inside from
chasing pigeons away and with my having no way of knowing it a baby bluebird
came inside with her. I truly know that God cares for every single baby bird
because this little one was in my apartment for, I am not kidding, five
days! I kept hearing this sound of a baby bird, but I could never find her.
Finally one morning I heard the bird making small sounds near Vinnie's bed
and I asked her to show me where and she pointed with her muzzle and I was
finally able to pick up this tiny being and take her outside. she was very
much alive and from what I could tell in good shape. I cannot imagine any
way other than the loving miraculous care of God bringing this about. No
food or water for five days is tough for me to do let alone a tiny baby
bird. God, truly is a miracle worker!
Sheila and Vignette

There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed,
nor secret that will not be known.
Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light,
And what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed on the
housetops
Luke 12-2-3.
