Dear Listmates -
I only heard from a few people. Two of those people wrote to Prof. Yang, and got the same thing I did - a form letter/email stating they will research how to remove the offending part of the gluten (which would be gliadin, I think) from the wheat gluten.
Apparently, when the article came out in the NY Times, Prof. Yang got a lot of email from people with concerns about clothes made from wheat gluten.
