In recognition of the birthday of Dr. Samuel Gee, the physician who first
noted connection between celiac disease and diet, the U.S. Senate has set
September 13, 2006 as National Celiac Awareness Day.

 

We think this is an incredible tribute, and we are grateful to Senator
Inhofe of Oklahoma for his efforts to raise awareness about celiac disease.
