Hi Chrissie, all you need to extend the coax on your mag mount is a
shourt piece of coax with a connector on each end and a barrel connector,
with is nothing more than a back to back female connector.  They are also
known as couplers.  I'm sure I have an extra one or two laying around,
and an extra coax cable, if you want to write me off list, I would be
happy to send them to you!  I know what it is like when getting to the
nearest Radio Shack can be a major project!  GRIN! My e-mail address is:

Back when I still lived in Detroit, we used to call 440 the band of
inches!  You can literally move an inch or 2 and it can make the
differents between no signal and good copy!
