buddy,
I do intend contacting MFJ's president about this.

Actually if they wanted to do it well they could modify one of
the more modern units with simple hardware additions and some new
code for whatever built in microcontroller they must use.

My method was designed to be most simply reproduceable by hams,
not best for mass production.

I'll pass along any response I get from MFJ and maybe ask for a
show of interest in a commercial unit if that seems possible.
