I wonder if it would be worth asking Mr. MFJ if they (meaning the
company) wouldn't be willing or able to provide the MFJ-209 in an
audible configuration, i.e. with just the VCO board installed, the end
user would be responsible for providing a freq counter. I expect they
might even sll a couple and it shouldn't increase the price by much.
