There are lots of plans on the web for building WIFI antennas. Try
searching on "pringles can antenna" or "cantenna". I have a Cantenna I
bought from ebay. It works great and it even came with a tiny tripod that
fits on the desk.

Subject: antenna building

I am studying for my general class license. I got to the chapters on
antenna design. I find this very fascinating. I am curious now. If
you can build an antenna to work for ham radio, can you build an antenna
to work for a wireless router? If not why?
