When I rented in Spokane, I was really lucky.

I wanted to put up a Wilson Crank-up W45 tower. I explained to my landlord that
I had to take the facia off and attached braces to the rafters. He said fine,
as long as when I left the house was restored back to normal.

When I left, I took the tower down and the big 6 by 8 board attached to the
rafters, but left the metal braces on and put the facia back on. Good as new.

Now, some twenty-five years later, I really wonder if we'd get that kind of
break from a landlord.
